Costa del Golf, as Costa del Sol was baptized 1997 when the Ryder Cup was held on the Valderrama Golf course in Sotogrande. And not only Valderrama course is known, there are several where international events have been held. Wherever you are on the Costa del Sol, you will always be close to a golf course. We have now over 50 between Malaga and Sotogrande. A stretch of just 65 miles (100 Km)! Though the biggest concentration is between San Pedro and Marbella, we should not forget the inland golf resorts, specially designed for golf holidays, such as La Cala Golf Resort, Los Flamingos Golf Resort, Lauro Golf and Los Arqueros Golf & Country Club, just to mention a few.
